I guess I’m the type that likes to go on a whim — a compulsion driven by intrigue (or just nosiness).
But in horse racing, I think I’ve found something that will never stop intriguing me, because it’s so compelling. Studying horse racing form is something that can never be mastered, and certainly never be beaten.
That’s why I’ll keep on coming back — because I’m so competitive, and because I love a challenge.
Horse racing will keep on going long after I’ve passed away and will never be mastered. But as long as I keep finding those winners — those 25/1, 33/1, 40/1, 50/1, 100/1, 150/1 winners that I know you all love — I'll be happy to 'keep the dream alive"
Each one of those days when that happens — when I find a winner and we beat the bookies — that’s enough for us to say that, on that day, we won, we beat racing.
Above all else —
Today, tomorrow, and for the rest of our lives, one thing that we can say is…
WE BEAT THE BOOKIES!
